September 2010 - Nite at the Y – Sat, September 18 - 6:30-10:00 PM

Pizza and soft drinks will be served poolside at the Olympic size outdoor pool. Pool games and full access to the Y in this private Adventure Guides event. 

October 2010 – World Famous Jungle Queen River Cruise – Sat, October 30 – Noon – 4:30 PM. Lunch provided by the Great Miccosukee Nation, followed by 1:30 Cruise. – The 3-hour trip cruises up the New River to a tropical island and a stop off at the JUNGLE QUEEN INDIAN VILLAGE. Here among rare trees are macaws, rare birds and an alligator exhibit.

November 2010 – Indian Hammock Campout - Friday November 12 – Sunday November 14 - The Great Miccosukee Nation returns to Indian Hammock near Yeehaw Junction. This is Central Florida tent camping in a nature preserve at its very best! Hiking, Bike Riding, Swimming and Pinewood Derby Car Crafts. Begin building your Pinewood Derby Car. The race will be at the next campout at Birch State Park!

December 2010 – Candy Cane Parade on Hollywood Beach - Sat, December 4 -  Ride on the perennially championship contending float constructed by the Great Miccosukee Nation! The parade heads south on the Broadwalk from Sheridan Street past the Bandshell. Celebrity judges will be on hand.

January 2011 – Hugh Taylor Birch State Park Campout - Friday, January 28 – Sunday, January 30 - Birch State Park features air conditioned cabins and a fully equipped mess hall as well a scenic bike path along the Intracoastal Waterway. The park is situated at Sunrise and the Beach. Bring your bathing suits and plenty of sunscreen! The “war games” for this trip will be the traditional Pinewood Derby competition.

February 2011 – Florida Panthers Hockey – Bank Atlantic Center, Sunrise. Sunday, February 27 vs. N.J. Devils. Experience the hard-hitting action of the new-look Panthers as they battle their bitter NHL foes! Dads and Kids take a slap shot on goal on the ice after the game. 

March 2011 – State Pow Wow – Kars Park – North Merritt Island – Thursday, March 17 – Sunday, March 20 - all of the YMCA nations from throughout the state of Florida for a weekend of camping, Native American culture, great food and games. 

April 2011 – Bowling - Saturday, April 16 – This popular event returns after a 5-year hiatus! Can the Sioux Tribe defeat the Blackfeet? Prizes for best kids by age group and a special prize for worst score by a dad!

May 2011 – Disney World – Fort Wilderness Campout - Thu, May 5 – Sun, May 8 - Tent Camping at Disney World’s award winning campground. (Thursday night camping is optional, but available if you would like to stretch the weekend.)

June 2011 – Miccosukee Nation Beach Bash  - Saturday, June 4 -– Cookout, sand castle building and games. This event is for the entire family and will be held locally this year – at our very own Hollywood Beach!
